Equality and Diversity
We are the Humanities Division of the University of Oxford
Our scholars and students explore what it means to be human. Conversation and debate which are sensitive to the nuances of language and context as well as to the challenges and opportunities presented by cultural translation are the vehicles by which our work advances. We believe that it is only by embracing difference, challenging power structures and exploring the multi-faceted nature of human experience that we can both contribute to a vibrant and meaningful academic environment for all and continue to push intellectual boundaries.
The Humanities Division values its staff and students, and we are proud of the steps we are taking to promote, celebrate and support equality and diversity across the Division and our faculties. We aim to create both a workplace and a learning environment that is inclusive and respectful of all its members. We adhere to the University's Equality Policy.
